Good Vibrations by Nadia El Tatawy May 21st – June 17th, 2011|
Tache Art, Designopolis Tache Art gallery opens a solo exhibition for the internationally acclaimed Egyptian artist Nadia El Tatawy. Entitled “Good Vibrations”. The exhibit features 26 paintings (oil on canvas) created around the theme of music: from the visceral experience of playing, watching a band and classic orchestra, to the expressions of dance, theater and poetry- often accompanied by music. Nadia El Tatawy has developed this collection since 2006 this is her first exhibit since the Revolution.

Norwegian Museum of Science, Technology and Medicine, Oslo The exhibition on Sonic Interaction Design will feature works using sonic interaction within arts, music and design as well as examples of sonification for research and artistic purposes. The exhibition will take place at the Norwegian Museum of Science, Technology and Medicine in Oslo. All chosen works illustrate the emerging field of sonic interaction design, and especially how it can be made accessible to the wider public in an exhibition.

Giardini and Arsenale, Venice The 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale will be directed by the art historian and critic Bice Curiger and organized by La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition ILLUMInations will be laid out in the Central Pavilion in the Giardini and in the Arsenale, forming a single itinerary, featuring 83 artists from all over the world.

MoMA, New YorkTalk to Me explores the communication between people and things. All objects contain information that goes well beyond their immediate use or appearance. The exhibition focuses on objects that involve a direct interaction, such as interfaces, information systems, visualization design, and communication devices, and on projects that establish an emotional, sensual, or intellectual connection with their users.
